My Other Special Rules

My first special rule I call "9 Ball." It's like a password, and it is used like this.

There are times when you meet someone and they ask for your e-mail address.
I give it to them but tell them to type "9 Ball" in the subject line.
It doesn't matter how they spell it because all the different ways it can
be spelled are in the rule. As long as "9 Ball" is in the subject line
it's protected against deletion and I will get it.

The other special rule is the "Request Information" rule. It's also like a password, and this is how it works.

Because I have a web site, my e-mail address is also obtained by Spammers.
I only want legitimate mail sent from my web site to be accepted.
So if someone clicks on my Email it's explained to them
not to remove the "Request Information" from the subject line.

So instead of using other programs like "Mailwasher" (which is a good program)
or tons of rules to filter Spam, I really have only a few rules and my mail is clean as can be.

Last thing to remember is that there are times when you
need to give your e-mail address on the net to receive a newsletter, or
some purchase, etc. They will need to e-mail you, so when you do something
like that open "PopTray" and temporally turn off the Spam rules. After you
get their e-mail, add them to your "Whitelist." Then turn on the rules again.

If you need more help with any of these programs, check their " Forums" pages found on each site.
