I have alot of fun manipulating graphics,
and there are many ways to do this.
In this example I have one photograph, and
a old copy of a cigarette Ad.
I want to put the face of the girl on the left into the Ad on the
right.
First select the Freehand tool .
Then click the Tool control
These are the settings I would use.
| Enlarge the photo so you have better control, and start your way left
clicking around the head until you come to the point where you started,
then right click on the head.
| Next, click Edit>Copy, then Edit>Paste>As
New Layer. |
This is now a PSP Layer.
Now go to the image of the Ad, and lasso the scarf with the Freehand
tool
Edit>Copy, then Edit>Paste>As New Layer.
This is your scarf Layer.
Next, go back to the Ad image, and click the undo
until the marching ants are gone.
Click on the Layer of the head, and then the Layer button .
Drag the layer to the Ad image.
Too big huh, so go to Image>Resize. I did 50% first and it was still
too big, so I did another 80%.
Next position the head where it looks natural.
Now we need to adjust the skin color. Click Colors>Adjust> then
choose, Hue/Saturation/Lightness.
These are the settings I found to be ok for this image.
Adjusting skin color can be tough at times,
and there are
other ways to do it, but each time you try
combining photos,
you have to use different color adjusting
tools and settings.
Now click the scarf Layer and drag it onto
the the Ad and line it up to where it matches.
Once everything is lined up, click Layers>Merge>Merge All.
The last thing you want to do is remove the printing in the Ad.
Use the Clone brush
and Tool control
set to what you see below.
Right click on a clean part of the wall, then left click on the
printing until all the words are gone.
Doesn't she look cute?
